Outreach Twilight Session: Screen Reading Technology, NVDA

A free online twilight session giving practical support and advice around teaching Access Technology for children and young people who are vision impaired.

Screen reading technology is the cornerstone of access to digital information for a person who is blind or vision impaired. This brief introduction will:

• Explain what a screen reader can (and cannot) do
• Demonstrate NVDA set up and configuration
• Explain Windows navigation and document editing
• Look at Internet and Email

The training will take place on Google Meet and delegates will be sent the link to join in advance of the event.
