Newtown Green Community Group take on the ‘Blindfold Mile’ challenge

We are delighted to announce that our friends at Newtown Green Community Group are holding a ‘Blindfold Mile’ in support of NCW.

Please feel free to join them on Saturday the 16th of July from  10.30am -12.30 noon on Newtown Green field (by Ronkswood Community Centre).

They are inviting people to take on the unusual and memorable challenge of walking a mile blindfolded whilst raising funds for NCW.

The challenge aim is to spread awareness of vision impairment and allow people to experience some of the challenges that blind and partially sighted people overcome each day.

Anyone can get involved, all you need is a guide and a blindfold!

Lottie from Fundraising will also be there on the day and would love to say ‘hello’.
