Family Day May 2024
Family Day is a fun and exciting day for any family who has a child with a vision impairment. The day offers a range of activities for all ages – parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters are all welcome!
You will have the chance to meet and chat with our staff, students and other parents attending, in an informal and friendly environment.
Format of the Day:
10am – 10.30am Coffee, bacon sandwiches
10.30am – 11am Welcome and Introductions
11am – 1.30pm Activities
1.30pm – 2.30pm Lunch (dining room)
2.30pm – 3.30pm Activities

11am Tours of the Campus
11am – 3pm Meet our charity partners, VICTA, RSBC and Guide Dogs (LRC)
11am – 3pm Pony Rides (Field)
11am – 3pm Water Zorbs (Front Lawn)
11am – 3pm Bouncy Castle (Front Lawn)
11am – 3pm Small Animal Zoo (Top Part LRC)
11am – 3pm VI Tennis (Gym)
11am – 3pm Learning Resources Display and Demonstrations (Meeting Room 1)
11.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm Relaxation Sessions (Fit4Purpose Gym)
11am – 3pm Advocacy Meetings (pre-booked appointments) Pastoral Room
11am – 3pm Arts and Crafts in the NCW Youth Club (Youth Club)
1.30pm – 3pm Ice Cream Van (payable) / Tea/Coffee and Cake (LRC)

Family Day is a relaxed way to find out more about NCW or simply have a fun day out with the family enjoying activities that are accessible to children who have a vision impairment.
The day is totally free of charge and includes lunch and refreshments.
