Onatti Theatre Company Brings French to Life at NCW

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Onatti Theatre Company to NCW for an immersive and interactive French play! The performance was a resounding success, with plenty of audience participation. Our students even took to the stage, stepping into new roles and showcasing their creativity and confidence.

The play, Prendre Sa Revanche, tells the hilarious story of two antique dealers trying to dupe customers by selling fake artifacts as real. However, their scam backfires when a quick-thinking customer turns the tables on them. The result? Comedy, clever dialogue, and a satisfying dose of revenge!

Onatti Theatre Company specialises in live, accessible theatre for schools, designed to complement students’ foreign language learning. With carefully crafted dialogue and engaging storylines, their performances bring languages to life, helping students immerse themselves in their studies.

This play was no exception—it was a huge hit with our students! Thanks to Mr Lythgoe’s excellent audio description, even non-French speakers were able to enjoy and follow the amusing storyline.

A massive thank you to Onatti Theatre Company for such an entertaining and educational experience. We look forward to welcoming them back in the future!
