Following the fantastic news that NCW was rated Outstanding or Good in all areas during our recent Educational Ofsted inspection, we are overjoyed to share even more brilliant news!

We are excited to announce that NCW has been ranked among the top 10 schools in Worcestershire for our ‘Progress Score’ at GCSE. This score measures the progress our students make from the end of their primary education through to their GCSE results. The rankings, published in December 2024, place NCW in the top 10 of all state schools in Worcestershire, including both mainstream and special schools.

This incredible achievement, coming just a week after our exceptional Ofsted report, is a true testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, staff and the entire NCW community. The progress they've made is a direct result of the outstanding support provided to all our students, empowering them to showcase their skills and abilities. We are particularly proud of how we meet and exceed the needs of our vision-impaired learners, offering tailored educational resources, specialised teaching methods and an inclusive environment that enables every learner to thrive. We are deeply proud of all that our students achieve, and this recognition further highlights the incredible commitment to excellence that defines NCW. It’s a privilege to share this wonderful news with you, and we look forward to continuing to support and celebrate the successes of our learners.
