VICTA are once again holding their Braille Art Competition, encouraging young people with a vision impairment to get creative with Braille!
This year, the category for our students’ age bracket is Connections.
This can be interpreted in any way, and has made for some really innovative and thoughtful ideas using Braille.
Students have wasted no time in getting creative, and we now have a range of conceptual artwork to submit to VICTA! These include ideas such as family, architecture, maps and animals to list a few!
Good luck to our students submitting their work, and we can’t wait to find out who the winner is!
NCW student, Phoebe, was delighted to win last year’s competition, so it has only encouraged more students to get involved this time.
Phoebe said: “It was great to use Braille in a fun activity as well as use my skills in Art!”
