A visit from Pudsey for Children in Need!

NCW students were filled with excitement as a very famous Pudsey bear arrived to visit them during break time this morning!

NCW has been chosen of one of many schools in the Worcestershire area to welcome the Children in Need mascot to celebrate the BBC’s Children in Need SPOTacular 2022 appeal.
The visit was covered by local radio station BBC Hereford and Worcester.

A bake sale consisting of lots of Pudsey themed cakes and treats were on offer to the NCW community in return for a donation.
Students and staff were also able to come to school in non-uniform/spots!

On Pudsey’s arrival, the bear shared high fives, handshakes, hugs and the occasional selfie, and certainly put a smile on lots of faces!

Students have also organised wet sponge throwing on Monday 21 November as another attempt at fundraising for Children in Need. Members of staff have been selected as unfortunate victims!

Thank you to BBC Hereford and Worcester for visiting NCW with Pudsey.
