This weekend two NCW parents took on the challenge of ‘The Peak Trek’ and walked 25km in the sunny Peak District to raise funds for NCW.

After weeks of training, a 4 am wake up, more than 9 hours climbing rugged and rocky terrain (in a heat wave) and with a total ascent of 1,052m – they did it!

Parents Gigi and Sue utterly embraced the challenge and of course completed it with a smile. On top of that, they have smashed their fundraising targets. Donations have come in from all corners of the world, and at present between them they have raised an incredible £ 1863!
