‘Zorro the Musical’ at RGSW

NCW students had the opportunity to visit Royal Grammar School Worcester (RGSW) this month, to experience their Senior School Musical, Zorro.

The Musical is set in the sizzling heat of 1800’s California and a pueblo is under attack from its autocratic leader. When the danger is at its greatest, a masked crusader appears from nowhere and saves lives. Who is he? Will he be their champion? ‘Zorro the Musical’ is a fresh new tale of love, hope and courage.

NCW students were amazed at the talented musicians, cast and crew singing, dancing, acting and sword-fighting, and had a thoroughly good time!

Sixth Form student Lydia, said: “I sincerely enjoyed RGS’s production of  Zorro. Everything was performed brilliantly and I had a wonderful time.
The singing was beautiful, and the acting was realistic enough to encapsulate my attention completely. Even the dancing, which I was mostly unable to see, was a joy to experience, as the claps and stamping of feet gave me a very good impression of what was going on, and allowed me to feel very much like I wasn’t missing out on a reaction because I could hear and feel what was happening!
The staff were lovely, happy to guide and help where needed, and the set, which they showed us before the production began, was really interesting and enjoyable to explore.”

Thank you to RGS for having us!
