In October this year, Women on Wheels held Worcestershire’s first ever all female cycling sportive with the aim to raise enough money to buy and maintain a tandem bike for the students here at NCW.

The students at the college LOVE cycling and can often be seen tandem cycling around the campus. It is one of the most popular after school activities. 

We are delighted to announce that not only was the event a huge success but due to their hard work and determination, they also exceeded their target and the new bike has been purchased.   

The new tandem has arrived in school and the students have already enjoyed riding it around the College grounds.  

On Friday Women on Wheels visited NCW to meet Head Students Ilya and Luke and see the new tandem. The tandem was admired by all! 

We are all delighted with the new tandem and very grateful to Women on Wheels and everyone that took part in October’s sportive.
