Two friends from Worcester have signed up to take part in a charity skydive to raise funds to help and support the students at New College Worcester, who are blind or vision impaired.
Finley Stanley, a Digital Data Apprentice, and Ted Taylor, a builder, have been friends for 8 years and are both looking forward to this fantastic experience.
Finley, 20, says “I visited New College Worcester whilst at school and witnessed first-hand the valuable work they do and the support the college provides to its students. From my own awareness with my great granddad being vision impaired, I witnessed the challenges he faced and can appreciate how the college supports and encourages the students to be independent.”
Ted, 19, says; “I have always wanted to do a skydive, it’s one of those things that has always been on my bucket list. And when Finley told me about this amazing opportunity I couldn’t resist as not only would I be doing one of my dream activities, but I would also be doing it in support of New College Worcester which is such a great cause!”
The duo will be jumping on 13th June and are currently raising funds online.
